- Breadcrumb Menu
The breadcrumb menu displays the current page's context within the site structure across the top of each webpage above the webpage title. The term "breadcrumb" is a metaphor from "Hansel and Gretel" who leave a trail of crumbs in order to find their way back out of the forest. Each of the menu groupings becomes a 'crumb' separated by an arrow and has a tabindex. This means you can move from the first 'crumb' to the next by hitting the TAB key on your keyboard and hit ENTER to go to the webpage.
